PFTF Lake Audubon Walleye Tourney Results

Last year, Mother Nature showed her power with winds gusting over 40 miles per hour. This year, Mother Nature looked to be a factor in similar fashion where prefishing was windy and cold.  Saturday, however, turned out to be a comfortable day on the water.  Still, the cool spring has slowed the warmth of North Dakota waters making fish rather unresponsive.  Eighty-three teams competed in the PFTF Lake Audubon Fishing Tourney with only half of the teams bringing one or more fish into the scales.  A clear determination the cool water temps played a role.

Each team was allowed to boat the NDGF daily limit (five per person) and were allowed to weigh six of those fish. The winning weight was 18.89 pounds giving Brian Fink and Terry Murschel the victory.  Travis Boser and Michel Gross took the big fish honor with a 7.32 pound walleye.
