Windy to say the least. I did not fish the tourney, but was talking to a fellow fishermen at 6 mile that rescured 4 guys from a capped boat on the main lake. He was heading over to Creel and saw waving arms in the distance. The story seems odd, but fact is they where clinging to their boat that was flipped over.

posted by: permo. Well, it was a windy, wavy and wet day for sure. Reminded me a lot of day 1 launch conditions of last year. We ran to "you know where" at about 15-20 mph. Those are good waves.

We ended up in 12th place, I am a little dissapointed. We "goonched" a nice one that would have given us a top 5. We only weighed four fish.

Last year winds were sustained low 40s with gusts of 49 out of the NW. Multiple boats had damage due to the conditions; 1 boat took on too much water , and Permo and I nearly sank "eleanor" around the SW corner of Grahams. Seems as though it isnt nearlty as bad this year, but after the poor decision to let us go last year they are playing it safe.
